| Public-Private Collaboration to Elevate Vocational Schools Teachers |

The National Institute of Metrology (Thailand), the Office of Vocational Education Commission, the Department of Skill Development, Mitutoyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Sumiphol Co., Ltd. announces the collaboration of the first Dimensional Metrology Training for Vocational Schools Teachers nationwide. This is a following project resulting from the successful Students Dimensional Metrology Skill Competition thats finalized in September last year. From the competition, its found that the contestants skill obviously vary both comprehension and competence of measuring equipment usage. Therefore, the Dimensional Metrology Training for Teachers aims to improve and align the knowledge in metrology so that the students will be taught and get trained in the same levels and up to international standards. Moreover, the project will keep all participating teachers updated on new metrology technology as well. Initially, the emphasis will be on 300 teachers who teach metrology nationwide starting from March until October 2011. Sumipol and Mitutoyo (Thailand) will support by providing measuring equipment for the training courses.
สถาบันมาตรวิทยาแห่งชาติ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการอาชีวศึกษา กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน บริษัท มิตูโตโย (ประเทศไทย)จำกัด และ บ.สุมิพล จก. ได้ลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ 5 ฝ่าย จัดโครงการอบรมมาตรวิทยาด้านมิติแก่ครู-อาจารย์ ระดับอาชีวะศึกษาทั่วประเทศขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรก อันเป็นผลมาจากความสำเร็จของการจัดการแข่งขันทักษะมาตรวิทยาทางด้านมิติสำหรับนักเรียนระดับอาชีวะไปแล้วซึ่งประกาศผลไปเมื่อเดือนกันยายน 2553 ซึ่งครั้งนั้นทั้ง 5 หน่วยงานได้วิเคราะห์แล้วพบว่า ระดับทักษะมาตรวิทยาทางด้านมิติของนักเรียนแต่ละภาคมีความแตกต่างกันอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ทั้งในเรื่องของความเข้าใจและทักษะการใช้เครื่องมือวัดทางด้านมิติของนักเรียน ดังนั้นโครงการอบรมมาตรวิทยาด้านมิติแก่ครู-อาจารย์ระดับอาชีวะศึกษาทั่วประเทศจึงมุ่งที่จะยกระดับปรับภูมิความรู้ของผู้สอนเพื่อนำไปใช้สอนนักเรียนให้มีความรู้และทักษะไปในแนวทางเดียวกันในระดับสากล รวมถึงยังจะให้ความรู้ในด้านเทคโนโลยีเครื่องมือวัดใหม่ๆ ไปพร้อมกันด้วย โดยในเบื้องต้นจะมุ่งเน้นไปที่ครู-อาจารย์ระดับอาชีวะศึกษา 300 คนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวิชามาตรวิทยาโดยตรง ซึ่งการจัดอบรมจะแบ่งไปตามภูมิภาคต่างๆ ตั้งแต่เดือน มีนาคมตุลาคม ปี 2554 โดยมีบริษัท สุมิพล จำกัด และบริษัท มิตูโตโย (ประเทศไทย)จำกัด ให้การสนับสนุนด้านเครื่องมือวัด

| TISI Presents Accreditation of ISO/IEC17025:2005 to Sumipol |

Mr. Chaiyong Krittipholchai, Secretary-General of Thai Industrial Standard Institute (TISI) presents the accreditation of calibration and testing laboratories-ISO/IEC17025:2005- to Sumipols calibration lab by having Mr. Jiraphan Ulapathorn Managing Director of Sumiphol Co., Ltd., to receive the certification. The accreditation is to ensure that Sumpols testing and calibration lab can operate to a quality system thats compliant with the international standard levels. This means all measuring instruments getting calibrated at Sumipol will comply with international standards as well. Currently, the accreditation covers 15 parameters and Sumipol is proceeding with the TISI to acquire up to 30 parameters in total.
The ISO/ IEC17025:2005 is compulsory in quality system of testing and calibration in accordance with ISO 9000.
นายชัยยง กฤตผลชัย เลขาธิการสำนักงานมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม (สมอ.) ได้มอบใบรับรองความสามารถห้องปฏิบัติการสอบเทียบเครื่องมือวัด มอก.17025:2548 (ISO/IEC17025:2005) ให้แก่ห้องปฏิบัติการสอบเทียบของบริษัทสุมิพลจำกัดโดยมีคุณจิระพันธ์ อุลปาทร กรรมการผู้จัดการเป็นผู้รับมอบ ใบรับรองนี้เป็นการยืนยันว่า ห้องปฏิบัติการสอบเทียบเครื่องมือวัดของสุมิพลมีคุณภาพและได้มาตรฐานในระดับสากล ซึ่งหมายถึงว่าเครื่องมือตรวจสอบที่ผ่านการทดสอบหรือสอบเทียบจากสุมิพลก็จะมีคุณภาพและมาตรฐานเป็นที่ยอมรับเช่นกัน โดยการรับรองนี้ครอบคลุมเครื่องมือวัดด้านมิติจำนวน 15 พารามิเตอร์ในเบื้องต้น อย่างไรก็ตามบริษัทฯ อยู่ในระหว่างการดำเนินการขยายขอบเขตออกไปซึ่งจะครอบคลุมรวมแล้วกว่า 30 พารามิเตอร์ ทั้งนี้มาตรฐาน มอก. 17025 เป็นหนึ่งในข้อกำหนดมาตรฐานด้านระบบคุณภาพในกิจกรรมการทดสอบหรือสอบเทียบตามอนุกรมมาตรฐาน ISO 9000

The German Machine Tool Builders Association (VDW) collaborates with Hannover Messe and German-Thai Chamber of Commerce held a press conference on EMO Hannover 2011, the world leading metalworking trade show to once again be staged in Hannover during 19-24 September 2011 to present new innovations of machine tools and relevant equipment. The organizer is confident that the EMO Hannover this time will stimulate more investments in 2011. Back in 2007, the EMO Hannover drew attentions from 166,500 business visitors and one-third of this numbers came from outside Germany and 2,100 companies from 42 countries participated as exhibitors. In addition, the organizer said that the highlights of most exhibitors will be on better energy efficiency, after sales service, and financial facilitators.
สมาคมผู้ผลิตเครื่องมือกลแห่งประเทศเยอรมนี (VDW) ร่วมกับศูนย์แสดงสินค้าเมืองฮันโนเวอร์ และหอการค้าเยอรมัน-ไทย แถลงข่าวการเตรียมความพร้อมการจัดงานแสดงสินค้านานาชาติทางด้านเครื่องมือกล EMO Hannover 2011 ณ ประเทศเยอรมนี ระหว่างวันที่ 19-24 กันยายน ปีนี้ เพื่อนำเสนอนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ ด้านเครื่องมือกล เครื่องจักรและอุปกรณ์อื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องในอุตสาหกรรมการผลิต โดยผู้จัดงานเชื่อมั่นว่า งานแสดงสินค้านานาชาติด้านเครืองมือกลในครั้งนี้ จะเป็นแรงกระตุ้นให้เกิดการลงทุนในปี 2011 มากขึ้น หลังจากที่เคยประสบความสำเร็จจากการจัดงานแสดงสินค้านานาชาติเครื่องมือกลดังกล่าวมาแล้ว ในปี 2007 ที่มีผู้เข้าเยี่ยมชมราว 1.66 แสนคน โดย 1 ใน 3 เป็นชาวต่างชาติ และมีบริษัทกว่า 2,100 บริษัทจาก 42 ประเทศทั่วโลก เข้าร่วมแสดงสินค้าในงานดังกล่าวด้วย นอกจากนี้ทางผู้จัดงานกล่าวว่า ไฮไลท์ของกลุ่มผู้แสดงเครื่องจักรส่วนใหญ่จะมุ่งไปที่การใช้พลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด อีกทั้งการเน้นความสำคัญของบริการหลังการขายและการอำนวยความสะดวกทางด้านการเงินแก่ผู้สนใจซื้อเครื่องจักรด้วย
